How it works
Six things happen to every visitor.
In this order.
Capture, resolve, credit, decide, act, signal back. Each one is drawn below on the surface where it actually happens, and each one is something you can open in the product and check.
01 · Capture
First-party, on your own domain. Nothing a browser can cut short.
The beacon is served from a path on the root domain you sell from, not a CNAMEd subdomain Safari treats as cloaking. Our identity is a server-set cookie that lives 400 days, and Meta’s and Google’s own cookies are re-issued server-side at their own lifetimes. Click ids ride aliases that URL-stripping browsers leave alone.
- One snippet, or the Shopify pixel served with your key in it
- Every checkout app read on the same handler: Shopflo, GoKwik, Pragma, Appbrew
- Traffic-integrity scoring on every page view, so bots never become people
- The tag observer records what every other tag did, stitched to the order

02 · Resolve
Four visits, three devices, one person.
Every arrival climbs the same identity ladder: the id we already hold, then Shopify’s own cart token, then each checkout partner’s session id, then the customer archive. Orders and abandoned checkouts climb the same rungs, so a cart and its own order can never disagree.
- Cross-device identity stitched on your domain, not rented from a vendor
- Journeys survive a change of checkout provider
- Hashed email and phone, matched on what the platforms can use
- Every order records which rung joined it, so a gap is named, never hidden

03 · Credit
Every order credited to the ad that earned it, with the receipt.
Last click, first touch, linear, all touches, and what the customer said in the post-purchase survey. Each order carries its journey, its click ids, and a match score with the missing identifier named. Both observations of a sale are kept, the browser’s and the webhook’s, never one discarded.
- Over 98% of Shopify orders tied to a source on live stores
- Assists, and the line that explains the gap with Meta
- Manual and app orders counted, and shown apart
- Partial refunds keep the order a sale and the money honest

04 · Decide
Verdicts priced on your costs, with the arithmetic shown.
Product cost, gateway fee, shipping and packaging are subtracted per order. Every campaign is judged on contribution and on who it brought, so a 4.8x retargeting campaign that only harvests existing buyers gets cut back and a 1.6x prospecting campaign whose buyers are 91% new gets scaled.
- Command Center every Monday, prior periods counted, never projected
- Today’s Actions: scale, cut, hold, rebalance
- What We Found: sixteen findings, the wrong conclusion named
- Withheld when tagging is too thin to judge on, and it says so

05 · Act
Reach the person, not the cookie.
Because the visitor is already a resolved person, an abandoned checkout is somebody you can message. Playbooks send the coupon by WhatsApp or email, sequences stop when someone replies, and audiences built from behaviour sync to Meta sized against what it can match.
- Abandoned checkouts for every checkout app
- Back in the Hive for the returning browser
- Reactivation curated per lapsed customer
- Recovered revenue counted, never claimed

06 · Signal back
Every conversion leaves enriched. You can inspect every payload.
Purchases go back to Meta, Google Ads, GA4 and server GTM with 44 parameters attached, hashed, deduplicated on your own order id. Value on the wire is what they paid, or profit after costs once the store’s costs are complete. Shadow mode shows what would be sent before anything is.
- Meta CAPI with match quality scored before the send
- Google Ads conversions through the Data Manager API
- Email opens and WhatsApp replies as real engagement events
- Retry rules from Meta’s contract, held events resent

Six things it will never do.
